City and County of Broomfield

Broomfield is strategically located at the heart of Metro Denver’s technology core. The City is 20 minutes from Denver and Boulder, and 30 minutes from Denver International Airport.

More than 50 percent of Broomfield residents hold at least a bachelor’s degree or higher. More than 30 national and international corporations have located their corporate headquarters in the City because of its highly educated workforce and close proximity to the University of Colorado Boulder.

Major industries in the area include information technology - software, data storage, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and general manufacturing, providing a wide range of employment opportunities.

Broomfield works closely with businesses to expedite the permitting and approval process so companies can expand and build in a timely fashion. These efforts have been key to the success of the Interlocken business park and the regional retail amenities that have developed around the FlatIron Crossing shopping center.
