Estes Park
Estes Park is located 70 miles northwest of Denver and can be reached from the east via U.S. Highways 34 and 36 and State Highway 7. Access from the west is via Highway 34, which crosses the Continental Divide.
With a population of nearly 6,000 within town limits Estes Park encompasses six square miles, and adopted a comprehensive development code in 1999 to intelligently plan for future growth.
Rocky Mountain National Park and Roosevelt National Forest surround Estes Park providing spectacular mountain scenery, an abundant wildlife habitat, and miles of hiking trails and scenic drives including Trail Ridge Road over the Continental Divide and the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway.
