Free business consulting and low-cost training workshops for small business owners are available through an extensive network of Colorado Small Business Development Centers (SBDC).
The Denver Metro Small Business Development Center is housed at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce in downtown Denver. The mission of the SBDC is to help small businesses throughout the region achieve their goals of growth, expansion, innovation, increased productivity, management improvement, and success.
In 2006, the Denver Metro SBDC provided consulting services to 776 business and prospective business owners, with 1,300 people attending business seminars.
Since 1999, the Colorado SBDC program has provided consulting services to 37,581 business and prospective business owners, with over 69,000 people attending business seminars. An interactive map showing SBDC locations throughout the state is available online.
