In 2001, John Beeble was hand-picked by Richard Saunders to be his successor as president and CEO of Saunders Construction, Inc. Founded in 1972, Saunders is a company with deep Colorado roots and is one of the most respected commercial builders in the Rocky Mountain region. Locally owned and managed for more than 35 years, Saunders is recognized for its commitment and focus that help turn ideas into projects, and projects into landmarks.
Raised in Colorado, Beeble received his bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University in 1976. His experience began with Petry-Vappi, Adolfson and Peterson, and the Staubach Company. In 1995, Beeble began working for Saunders Construction, Inc. as an estimator and worked his way up to the top.
Beeble carries on the culture that Dick Saunders established - of personal integrity and open communication. As a true general contractor, Saunders employs over 300 skilled field personnel including foremen, carpenters, and laborers, providing the ability to perform work in-house.
Beeble is dedicated to seeing the Metro Denver area continue to grow. “With so many choices available on where to put our public investment dollars, the one I don't have to think about is the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation. The Metro Denver EDC plays a significant role in aligning the Metro Denver region in all areas of economic development, public policy, and public/private partnership. Saunders Construction is proud to be a part of this organization promoting true regionalism.”
