Susan Jorgensen is vice president and managing principal for the Denver office of Leo A Daly, and has 22 years of experience as a senior structural engineer. Jorgensen is responsible for the timely response and allocation of personnel to ensure that Leo A Daly resources are committed to their assigned projects, and has direct day-to-day responsibilities for all areas of business, quality control, and personnel resources.

The company's portfolio includes award-winning projects in 65 countries. The firm employs more than 900 architects, planners, engineers and interior designers in over 30 offices worldwide.
Leo A Daly projects in Colorado include the Sky Ute Lodge and Casino near Durango; multiple facilities at Fort Carson; the United States Air Force Academy Urgent Care Center; Denver International Airport ,Terminal Canopy and Roadway Expansion; and the Renaissance Denver Hotel.
Prior to joining Leo A Daly in 1997, Jorgensen gained structural engineering design experience working with consulting firms in Colorado, North Dakota, and South Dakota. She moved to Colorado in 2007 to open the Denver branch office.
Jorgensen is active in the Structural Engineers Association of Colorado, the Structural Engineering Institute of ASCE, and the National Council of Structural Engineering Associations including serving as the Chair of the Licensing Committee for NCSEA. She has been a member of the Metro Denver EDC since 2009 and serves on the Metro Denver Aviation Coalition and the Colorado Energy Coalition.
