Kevin Cory is the Director - People & Culture for Vestas Blades America, Inc., the world’s leading producer of high-tech wind power systems. Kevin has more than 30 years of progressive human resource and operational management experience in call center, manufacturing, retailing, nonprofit, and supply chain management operations.

Vestas Blades America, Inc.’s slogan, “Wind. It Means the World to Us,” conveys that the company deals exclusively with wind power to ensure clean energy for customers worldwide. Vestas believes that wind power is the best supplement to oil, gas, and other conventional energy sources currently employed. As the world’s largest wind turbine company, Vestas aims to ensure that wind power remains at the top of the global energy agenda.

Vestas employs 3,000 in North America and has operations in 28 states, with four manufacturing plants in Colorado located in Pueblo, Brighton, and Windsor. Vestas’ manufacturing plant in Windsor employs more than 650 employees from throughout Northern Colorado. The plant produces blades for the V90 2.0 MW and 3.0 MW turbines, and the V100 1.8 MW turbine. A second blade manufacturing plant is currently under construction in Brighton and will be operational in 2011 to produce blades for the V112 3.0 MW turbine.

Prior to joining Vestas, Cory held positions at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, ALCO Discount Stores, Inc., and StarTek, Inc. Kevin holds a master’s degree in education (Ed. M.) in organizational performance and change (OPC) from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Regis University (graduated Summa Cum Laude). Cory is a member of the National Jesuit University Honor Society (Alpha Sigma Nu) and the National Catholic College Honor Society (Kappa Gamma Pi). He serves on the Metro Denver EDC Executive Committee, the Board of Directors for Northern Colorado EDC, and the Regis University Alumni Advisory Board.
