Molson Coors and CO. Rockies sign deal

Coors Brewing Company and the Colorado Rockies have signed a new ten-year sponsorship agreement maintaining Coors as the official malt beverage sponsor of the defending National League champions. The deal includes promotional, advertising, licensing and hospitality rights.

"Coors Brewing Company is synonymous with the Colorado Rockies and Coors Field and we are proud to continue our relationship for many years to come," said Bryce McTavish, vice president of retail marketing and sponsorship, Coors Brewing Company. "As the National League champions look to defend the pennant, we are thrilled to renew our partnership and refresh the thirst of Rockies fans."

As part of the new agreement, the "Blue Moon Brewing Company at the Sandlot" will serve as the exclusive on-site brewer of beer on the premises of Coors Field. Coors also secures exclusive naming rights of the premium seating section and lounge area located behind home plate, which will be known as the "Coors Clubhouse" and the picnic area behind centerfield will be known as the "Coors Field Picnic Area."
