Pete Webb, Principal
Webb Strategic Communications, in its 26th year, provides strategy, messaging, community and stakeholder outreach, and corporate communications support to some of Colorado’s best-known businesses and public education campaigns. The firm’s practice is built on five core competencies – media relations, social marketing, digital, crisis, and Latino. It is led by principals Pete Webb and Ginny Williams from an office on Speer Boulevard.
Some of Colorado’s best-known behavioral change campaigns have been developed by Webb – currently, TobaccoFreeCo.com, for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, ‘Speak Now’ for the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health, and an upcoming prescription drug awareness campaign being developed for the Governor’s Office. Webb also developed the iconic “Heat Is On” DUI enforcement campaign for CDOT.
Webb represents the Metro Denver EDC for local media relations, and was instrumental in promoting the first Colorado Energy Expo this past June. Webb’s corporate clients include Pinnacol Assurance, the Canadian Consulate, three mining companies, a national retirement community network, and a variety of Colorado special districts.
“We believe our business economy grows precisely because of the work done by the Metro Denver EDC,” says Principal Pete Webb, a long-time member of the Metro Denver EDC’s Board of Governors. “Its agenda lays the groundwork for businesses to relocate, compete, and grow in Colorado. We’ve been privileged on many occasions to be involved with those new companies from the very beginning.” View the firm’s work and services at webbstrategic.com.
