Richard Albair new Central Business Development Rep
As of October 2010, Richard Albair joins the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) as the Business Development Representative serving the Central Region. His territory includes the counties in the center of the state, which include some of the largest urban markets of Denver Metro, Greeley, Fort Collins, Loveland, Boulder, Broomfield, Colorado Springs, Englewood and Pueblo.
Albair has more than 25 years of experience in business development and corporate management. His rich and varied experience in the private sector brings a critical element to the OEDIT Business Development team.
He has fostered partnerships with small, community-based businesses as well as large, multibillion-dollar corporations. After a successful career in sales and strategy development, Albair is looking forward to transferring his strong, mutually beneficial relationships towards Colorado's economy.
"I can't wait to get started in this job, and I look forward to meeting and working with the men and women who really make business happen in Colorado," Albair said. "There's nothing I enjoy more than collaborating with business leaders to develop and implement creative strategies that work."
Albair is a native of the St. Louis area and has a degree in Finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia where he also played basketball. He enjoys watching all sports and outside activities such as golf, skiing, hiking, biking, travelling. He has four children, and lives in Castle Pines North.
