Trustpilot expands U.S. presence with opening of a Denver office

Opening May 1, the Trustpilot Denver Office Will Increase The Company's U.S. Workforce by 20 Percent and Support Rapid Customer Growth in the Western States

Trustpilot, the leading review community for online shoppers, today announced its latest U.S. expansion plans, marked by the opening of a location in Denver on May 1. The Denver office, which will initially focus on driving customer sales within the region, will support a 20 percent increase to the company's U.S. workforce by the end of 2016.

"Since establishing a U.S. presence less than three years ago, Trustpilot has enjoyed a tremendous growth trajectory here, stemming from the increasing expectation for trust and transparency between businesses and their customers," said Fred Mather, General Manager, Americas at Trustpilot. "Our unparalleled offerings fit an otherwise unmet need for businesses seeking a trusted ratings and reviews solution, and opening another U.S. office to serve their needs was a natural step in our evolution."

Trustpilot evaluated several U.S. cities for its local market expansion, but ultimately selected Denver because of its growing technology industry, its reputation as a hub of innovation and strong local talent pool.

With the opening of the Denver office, the company will create at least 40 additional jobs this year in positions ranging from account executives to sales managers. Denver-based employees will enjoy the same benefits that have made Trustpilot an employer of choice around the world, some of which are inspired by the laws of the company's headquarter location in Denmark, like requirements to offer all employees sit-stand desks. The company also offers a range of other perks designed to foster an environment attractive to the largely Millennial staff, such as catered weekly lunches and breakfasts, extracurricular activities, paid family leave and generous paid time off.

Scheduled to open May 1, the new Trustpilot office will initially be based in the new WeWork in the LOHI district of Denver, with the company being one of the space's first tenants. As the local team grows, the company plans to search for its own office space and enter into a permanent lease later this year.
