Seattle’s fast-growing QuoteWizard opens Denver office, celebrates company’s 10th anniversary
QuoteWizard, an online insurance comparison marketplace based in Seattle’s Pioneer Square District, today announced that the company has opened an office in Denver, effective immediately. The company’s first external office complements the 180 employees based in its Seattle headquarters and comes at a time of strong growth for QuoteWizard as it celebrates its tenth anniversary in business.
The self-funded, profitable company is on-track to generate more than $100 million in annual revenue for the first time this year and has already hired 30 employees in 2016, with plans to add dozens more this year. QuoteWizard’s new Denver office is located in the city’s LoDo district, where the company is looking to hire sales and technology professionals. The company already has a dozen employees in Denver and plans to continue hiring.
To celebrate its 10th Anniversary, QuoteWizard will host “Party for the Park,” a community party on Thursday, June 2, from 3-7 p.m. in Occidental Square, near the Pioneer Square headquarters that have housed the company since its 2006 inception. QuoteWizard will donate all proceeds from the event to enhance Occidental Square through collaboration with Seattle Parks Foundation, the Downtown Seattle Association and Alliance for Pioneer Square. For a $10 minimum donation, those 21 and over will receive tickets for two beers, as well as a raffle ticket for prizes. All donations will be double-matched by QuoteWizard and the Seattle Parks Foundation. The event is open to the public.
During the past decade, QuoteWizard has built an expanding network of more than 8,000 local agents in all 50 states focused on home, auto, life, and health insurance. The company provides consumers with free and direct access to the agents, as well as major carriers, who offer personalized quotes and the opportunity to save up to 40% off of regular insurance rates. QuoteWizard’s technology platform factors in several key criteria, including: location, age, driving record, insurance type (home, auto, health, life) and other considerations to generate the most relevant listings possible for consumers. Agents and carriers, in turn, benefit from a million of highly qualified leads.

According to Peyree, the company expects its relationships with insurance carriers and agents to continue growing, as only one-third of agents in the US currently purchase leads online. As online technology (especially mobile) continues to proliferate, QuoteWizard is seeing more agents come online to generate highly qualified leads, based on consumer location and specific areas of need.
