Software testing firm moves into new offices in Boulder to support rapid US growth; launches new “eggPlant expert” program

TestPlant, the maker of the eggPlant range of software quality tools, today announced it has opened its new Americas headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. The state-of-the-art new office reflects the company’s ambitious growth objectives for North and South America, building on its recent investment by The Carlyle Group.

A global leader in software testing, TestPlant previously operated a development hub in the city, but the company’s new location in downtown Boulder is now the main office for all the firm’s American activities, housing its Development, Sales, Business Development, Marketing and HR functions. The new headquarters also supports TestPlant’s regional North American offices in San Francisco and Philadelphia.

“Back in 2008, Jonathan, Doug, Matt and Pam made up the team in Boulder – our Development Center!” said George Mackintosh, CEO, TestPlant. “Customer success in the USA (and in EMEA and Asia) has afforded us the move to a super new facility that is now home to a multi-functional team of great people. Boulder is a very fine city to live and work in and, as the spiritual home of eggPlant technology, it’s the perfect location for our Americas Headquarters. Now, we’re even more ready to scale-up our operation to match the demand for solutions to deliver digital service assurance and systems engineering automation.”

eggPlant expert program

At the recent office opening reception in Boulder, 12 eggPlant users became the first members of TestPlant’s new “eggPlant experts” program. The program recognizes customers who have become outstanding users of a tool or tools in the eggPlant product range. eggPlant experts receive a range of benefits, including invitations to exclusive TestPlant events.

“Our customers are instrumental in helping us determine the future direction of the eggPlant product range, and we wanted to be able to show our appreciation to those users who have shown particular enthusiasm for our products, said Antony Edwards, CTO, TestPlant. “We look forward to welcoming many more eggPlant experts into our community in the near future.”
