DigitalGlobe named to Deloitte’s 2009 Technology Fast 500 ranking

Company recognized in annual listing of the fastest-growing technology companies in North America

DigitalGlobe, a leading global provider of commercial high-resolution world-imagery products and services for defense and intelligence, civil government, and commercial customers, today announced that it has been named to the Deloitte 2009 Technology Fast 500, an annual listing of the fastest-growing technology companies in North America.

The Technology Fast 500 provides a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies. The ranking is compiled from nominations submitted directly to the Technology Fast 500 website and public company database research conducted by Deloitte. Technology Fast 500 award winners for 2009 are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth during the five year period from 2004 to 2008.

“We are so pleased to have been named to the Technology Fast 500,” said Jill Smith, chairman and chief executive officer of DigitalGlobe. “2009 has been a remarkable year for us so far: We achieved a successful initial public offering, we launched our second next-generation satellite, and we have built or expanded exciting partnerships in our commercial and government sectors. We are looking forward to continued growth and innovation in 2010 and beyond.”

Earlier this week, DigitalGlobe was also named Photonics Company of the Year by the Colorado Photonics Industry Association (CPIA). The award will be presented at the CPIA Annual Meeting Thursday, November 12, 2009, on the University of Colorado main campus in Boulder.
