Monthly Economic Indicators

Total residential building permits increased 29.6 percent between January 2016 and January 2017.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 26 percent between February 2016 and February 2017 and closed at over 20,800.

Colorado is included in the Mountain Region Index and the area reported an increase in consumer confidence between January and February. The index rose to 130.5 in February, the highest recorded since October 2007.
