Ethnicity

A diverse population in Metro Denver fosters a culture of creativity, openness, and energy, all essential ingredients for the region's Mountain West lifestyle.

That openness has resulted in approximately one-third of Metro Denver's population identifying as people of color. Coloradans believe in an inclusive community and understand that diversity is how communities and organizations thrive.

In a recent perception study, 83% of the Metro Denver workforce said they chose our community because people are respectful of different viewpoints.

In 2020, Brookings named Metro Denver the Top U.S. City for Inclusion.
